About the Role

Join Barclays Pune’s OSS Platform Engineering team focused on cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions. As a Software Engineer – Full Stack, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications that support global banking systems and services. This role encompasses both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration with business platforms and delivering top-tier customer experiences.

You’ll work with technologies such as Java (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate), React.js/JavaScript (Material UI, state management), SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs and microservices, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and observability tools (Grafana, ELK.

The position also involves secure coding practices, unit testing (JUnit, Selenium, Cypress), performance optimisation, and cloud integrations across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will collaborate closely with product teams, architects, service managers, and external partners, contributing technically and strategically to complex global projects. Responsibilities include risk analysis, code reviews, mentorship, policy adherence, and maintaining high-quality agile delivery standards.
