🧪 S&P Global is hiring – Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

  • Locations: Gurgaon (Haryana) & Ahmedabad (Gujarat), India
  • Experience: 0–2 years in testing or development
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related

🔍 Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an SDET, you’ll join a global Agile Quality Engineering team focused on ensuring product excellence. You’ll:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, service/API, Windows, and mobile platforms
  • Create scalable test frameworks and regression suites using TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js) or C#
  • Design test plans, cases, execute them and analyze results
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate quality early – part of the “shift left” approach
  • Contribute to performance testing, service-level testing, and SQL/database validation
  • Document and share QA insights and automation metrics
  • Support CI/CD & DevOps pipelines, with opportunities to explore performance load tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

✅ Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • 0–2 years of software testing or development experience
  • Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript (Node.js) or C#
  • Hands-on with automation tools: Selenium, Appium, BDD frameworks, service/API testing
  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST, SQL/PL‑SQL, and database validation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams
  • Awareness of CI/CD and performance testing is a plus
