As a Software Development Engineer in the Ordering team, you will:
- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems that handle the entire retail ordering workflow.
- Solve abstract problems and create innovative designs to continuously improve the platform.
- Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, maintainability, efficiency, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build systems that accelerate engineering and product teams.
- Own your systems end-to-end and influence the direction of technology impacting hundreds of millions of customers.
🔹 Candidate Profile
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in designing and architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
- Ability to work on large-scale distributed systems.
Preferred Profile:
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
