🔹 Job Description
As an L1 Cloud Engineer, you will support cloud operations for enterprise-grade infrastructure, primarily focusing on Azure with exposure to AWS. Your responsibilities include monitoring services, managing support tickets, providing first-line incident and service resolution, escalating L2 issues, and documenting solutions. You’ll work in a 24×7 production environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and continuity of cloud services. You’ll contribute to SOP and KB documentation, improve workflows, and deliver excellent internal and external customer service.
This is a Grade 6 role, offering exposure to leading-edge tech environments and global delivery models.
🔹 Candidate Profile
Key Skills:
- Azure (Administration, Monitoring, Troubleshooting)
- AWS Basics or Cloud Operations
- ITIL-based Incident/Service/Change Management
- Shift-based support in cloud infrastructure
- Client communication (email, verbal, documentation)
Preferred Profile:
- Experience handling alerts, tickets, shift handovers
- Comfortable with KB article creation and SOP updates
- Certifications: Azure Fundamentals / AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Ability to escalate and track L2 issues
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
