Job Description

As a Full Stack Java Developer at UBS, you will:

  • Lead projects through all SDLC phases including requirements gathering, design, coding, and testing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA, operations, and database teams to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Analyze and enhance AS-IS business process flows and implement required changes.
  • Develop backend services using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, and work with REST/SOAP web services.
  • Support and optimize middleware components like MQ and Kafka and work with databases like Oracle, Sybase, or DB2.
  • Engage with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, ReactJS) and cloud architecture on Azure.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub.
  • Ensure system scalability, security, and governance aligned with industry best practices.

Candidate Profile

Key Skills:

  • Strong Java and J2EE development skills
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, REST and SOAP services
  • Familiarity with messaging queues (MQ, Kafka) and web servers (Tomcat, WebSphere)
  • Knowledge of databases like Oracle, Sybase, DB2, and PL/SQL
  • Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS
  • Experience or knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and CI/CD pipelines
